Special Music Performances for All Saints' Day Celebration

All Saints Church in Bay Head, NJ, warmly welcomes all to celebrate All Saints’ Day on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 10:15 am. Our traditional Sunday service will feature special music, including a performance on the violoncello beginning at 10:00 am as a prelude to the service, and choral selections from three English composers performed by the semi-professional choir at All Saints.

For All Saints Church this is an especially important day in our church calendar. “For nearly 130 years the ‘saints’ have been gathering at All Saints Episcopal Church to make a joyful noise unto God. And, while every Sunday is a celebration of God’s love, November 4, All Saints Sunday, is our special feast day. We invite the entire community to celebrate with us,” said Rev. Robert A. Nagy, rector of All Saints Church.

Special Commemorations

Most times, the mid-week celebration of the Holy Eucharist includes a special commemoration of a particular person or event in the Episcopal Church calendar. If the special feast falls on the Wednesday, then that is the feast of the day. If it is on some other day that week, we transfer it to Wednesday. Each service takes place at 8:30 am and usually lasts about a half hour. All are encouraged to participate. The special commemorations are identified at right.

The asterisk (*) indicates a day on which no particular Saint, Feast or Fast is commemorated; however, the Holy Eucharist is celebrated at 8:30 am.
